In every age, men construct systems to make sense of their world. Some of these systems are born of divine revelation; others are forged in rebellion against the Creator. The 21st century is witnessing the final maturation of one such system—a synthetic faith masquerading as fact, a counterfeit gospel masquerading as knowledge.
That system is Scientism, and its temple is every classroom, laboratory, media outlet, and political hall that dares to place flawed and corrupted human opinion above the Word of God. Using the Holy Scriptures as the foundation for truth, alongside reason, empirical evidence, and historical testimony, this thesis exposes it—this beast that manifests as a belief system that parades as objective science while in fact functioning as a religious worldview built upon unprovable axioms, circular logic, and the rejection of divine revelation. Furthermore I will dismantle the pillars of Scientism and reaffirm the supremacy of God’s Word as the ultimate source of knowledge.
As a Christian theologian, I demonstrate that key doctrines of Scientism (gravity, heliocentrism, evolution, Big Bang cosmology, and more) are neither scientific nor consistent with observable data or Scripture. Instead, they are upheld by blind faith, enforced orthodoxy, and speculative philosophy.
Scientism is not science. It is a religion that worships human intellect, theoretical constructs, and unverifiable claims, while mocking the Word of God. Unlike genuine science, which involves repeatable observation and experimentation, Scientism depends on untested assumptions, mathematical abstractions, and authoritative decrees from self-appointed "experts." It insists the Earth spins at 1,000 mph, orbits the sun at 66,600 mph, while the sun hurls through space at 500,000 mph—all without a shred of perceived motion. It tells us that everything came from nothing in a random explosion, that fish turned into philosophers, and that invisible "forces" hold us to a spinning globe.
This is not science. This is mythology, cloaked in lab coats, and defended not by evidence but by ridicule, censorship, and academic gatekeeping. It has its own creeds, priests, excommunications, and sacred texts. It is, by all definitions, a religion.
